An armed robbey in West University have raised concerns in the community. Theincident occurred around 11 p.m. on Milton Street near College, when two victims were forced to the ground at gunpoint, and their personal items, including a vehicle, were stolen. One suspect, armed and wearing a mask, ordered the victims to the ground while an accomplice waited in a dark SUV. They then stole a victim's vehicle and fled north on Weslayan, as per KHOU.
One suspect wore a ski mask and glasses, taking their phones, house keys, and a wedding ring before fleeing in a red Dodge Charger, according to abc13.
The West University police department is investigating both incidents. The suspects remain unidentified and at large. Anyone with information or who witnessed the robberies is encouraged to contact the West University police.
