
A fatal shooting took place on the 4000 block of E. Cesar Chavez Avenue this past Friday night. According to CBS News Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that the incident unfolded at approximately 10:07 p.m. The victim, an adult male whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
As the deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim with gunshot wounds, but no suspect was located at the scene. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any helpful information. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau is taking the lead on the investigation, as per a statement released by the sheriff's department.
