Yesterday early, a serious car accident occurred on Alkire Rd., leaving an individual in critical condition after their vehicle lost control and crashed into a utility pole. According to a report from the Columbus Division of Police, the driver of a Lexus RX was traveling eastbound on Alkire Rd. Near Holt Rd., the incident took place at approximately 3:08 am. The reasons behind the loss of control are still being investigated.
The Columbus Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, and the victim, described only as an Adult, was extracted from the wreckage using mechanical means. CFD Medic #31 then transported the driver to Grant Medical Center, highlighting the severity of the situation. The individual's name has not been released as the authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
