
A tragic vehicle incident claimed the life of a Dade City man on Friday evening, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. According to WFLA, the 42-year-old was maneuvering a Toyota Tacoma on the northbound I-275 entrance ramp to I-75 at approximately 6:46 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle for unspecified reasons.
The situation rapidly escalated when the Tacoma veered off, crossing the gore, and overturning in the process before it stopped in I-75's travel lanes, this dramatic scene unfolded but what remain unclear are the factors that led to the driver’s fatal loss of control. Regrettably, the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle, which resulted in serious injuries, as echoed by a Pasco News Online report.
Following the crash, the man was urgently transported to a local hospital, where, despite the efforts of medical professionals, he was later pronounced deceased.
