The likelihood of precipitation tonight stands at 60%, with amounts of new rainfall expected to be less than a tenth of an inch, barring higher accumulations in areas hit by thunderstorms. Moving into the weekend, "showers and thunderstorms likely before 10am," according to the National Weather Service. Following a brief intermission, the wet conditions are projected to renew post 1 p.m. The south wind, somewhat diminished, will still gust to around 20 mph.
For Saturday evening, the forecast promises a 70% chance of continued showers and possible thunderstorms. Conditions are anticipated to hover around 63 degrees Fahrenheit with south easterly winds maintaining a steady pace. This wet trend subsides slightly on Sunday, which offers a break with partly sunny skies forecasted and a high near 77 degrees. The start of the new week delivers a turn toward clearer skies and gradually climbing temperatures, with Monday expected to be sunny and the high nearing 80 degrees.
However, a resurgence of unsettled weather appears to be on the horizon. "A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm," will mark the change on Tuesday. Although most of the day promises mostly sunny skies and a pleasant 85 degrees, nighttime could see another bout of thunderstorms and showers. Throughout Thursday, chances of precipitation intensify, peaking at a robust 80% likelihood of showers and thunderstorms mid-week, creating potentially significant rainfall events, as per the National Weather Service.
