Following the recent developments in the Dallas shooting incident, the Dallas Police Fugitive Unit has made an arrest. Alton Williams, a 25-year-old man, was taken into custody on Monday, as announced by the Dallas Police Department. Williams faces a murder charge, connected to a shooting that took place on Sunday.
According to the Dallas Police, the event occurred late at night, around 10:20 PM, in the 400 block of N. Harwood Street. Responding to the shooting call, officers found a man who had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue, arriving on the scene, transported the unnamed man to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. After transporting the victim to the hospital, where he later died, the Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the shooting.
The identity of the deceased has been withheld, pending the notification of next of kin. This homicide is now part of an active investigation, marked under case number 051793-2025. The Dallas Police request that anyone with information come forward to assist with the inquiry.
