The deadline for Cream of the Cream City Awards nominations is April 7. The Historic Preservation Commission is inviting community members and organizations to submit nominations for notable preservation work in Milwaukee, according to the City of Milwaukee.
Milwaukee’s Historic Preservation Commission and Common Council are recognizing individuals and groups who have contributed to preserving the city’s historic buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The City of Milwaukee has announced that anyone, including organizations or recent projects, involved in preservation work within Milwaukee in the past five years is eligible to apply for this recognition.
Nominees for the Cream of the Cream City Awards can find information on eligibility, the application process, and previous winners on the City of Milwaukee's website. The ceremony will take place on May 29 at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. Commissioner Bauman encourages those involved in preservation to apply and attend the event.
