The driver, Demarcus Spencer, was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for alleged indecency with a child. Spencer was detained and taken to Harris County Jail, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Demarcus Spencer was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the active felony warrant." The 496th District Court set his bond at $100,000. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 has not released additional details about the allegations, and the case remains under investigation.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the office has introduced the "C4 NOW" mobile app to enhance communication with residents. The app provides real-time updates on local crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions. It also allows users to report crimes and submit tips directly to the Constable's office. This initiative aims to keep the community informed and engaged in public safety efforts. Residents are encouraged to download the "C4 NOW" app and follow the Constable's Facebook page for ongoing updates.
