The Denton County Sheriff's Office has issued a public appeal on social media seeking information about a stolen piece of equipment: a 2006 Vermeer wood chipper. According to the Sheriff's Office, the wood chipper went missing from Hartlee Field Road in Denton County, Texas, between April 4th and April 7th.
The theft occurred on the 2700 block of the said road, posing a concern for local law enforcement seeking to crack down on property crimes. Anyone with details that might lead to the recovery of the wood chipper or information about the theft itself is encouraged to get in touch. The woodchipper's absence was noticed earlier this month, and the Denton County Sheriff's Office has been canvassing for leads since.
Investigator Chad Kirk of the Sheriff’s Office is spearheading the investigation and has been designated the primary contact for this case. Those who might have some insights into this theft are asked to contact Investigator Kirk at 940-349-1670 or by email at [email protected].
