The Detroit community is on alert as police continue searching for Nakia Anderson, a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday. According to Detroit Police Department's Missing Facebook page, she was last seen on Westwood Street in the 7300 block.
Nakia is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair worn in a ponytail. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a tie-dye shirt and blue jeans. This information was shared in a recent article by ClickOnDetroit.
The Detroit Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for help in finding Anderson and posted a picture of Nakiah Gibson on social media. Anyone with information can contact the 8th Precinct at (313) 596-5840 or call 911 in an emergency.or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
