The Detroit Police Department is searching for 16-year-old Alyjah Pettis, who has been missing since Thursday last week. She was last seen leaving her home on Tireman Avenue in Detroit.
As per the Detroit Police Department's Missing Facebook post, Alyjah is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with short black locs and brown eyes.
The police have asked the community for help in locating her and have shared her description through the 6th Precinct. Anyone with details about her whereabouts is urged to contact the 6th Precinct at (313) 596-5640 or call 911.
