The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Elizabeth Murphy, a 34-year-old woman who went missing after leaving Henry Ford Hospital this morning. According to Audacy, she was last seen near W. Grand Boulevard and the John C. Lodge Service Drive, wearing only a gray hospital gown. She is described as 4'11" tall and weighing 100 pounds.
Murphy’s husband informed police that she has Bipolar Disorder, which raises additional concern for her safety. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detroit Police Commander Philip Rodriguez at the 10th Precinct by calling 313-596-1040. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
The Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Unit has shared the alert on Facebook to widen the search.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
