Dublin’s Scioto Park stage will be closed starting April 15 for upgrades. Crews will replace the current decking and begin work on a future shade structure. The project is expected to finish by early May, weather permitting, according to the City of Dublin.
Although performances may be temporarily disrupted, the city says the improvements will benefit both performers and audiences in the long run. Details about the new shade structure haven’t been released yet.
For those with events planned during the construction, the city is offering alternative arrangements. Residents are encouraged to contact city offices for more information.
The upgrade comes just in time for the start of the outdoor season, aiming to enhance the park experience for the community.
