Duluth is preparing to welcome summer with the return of its cherished Music in the Park concert series, now in its 42nd year. Organized in partnership with Chester Bowl, Duluth Parks and Recreation has unveiled a lineup of family-friendly performances set to take place every Tuesday evening, filling the city’s parks with live music. The free concerts will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering a variety of musical genres to suit all tastes.
The series will begin at Chester Park, located at 1801 E. Skyline Parkway, where attendees can enjoy performances amid the warm summer evenings. As the season progresses, the event will shift to Lincoln Park, at Lincoln Park Drive and W. Third Street, continuing the tradition of open-air entertainment in the heart of the city. Duluth Parks and Recreation expressed appreciation to the musicians who contributed to this year’s lineup, ensuring a diverse and engaging program.
Midwest Communications stations KAT98.9 and MY95.7 have played a significant role in promoting the event, working alongside Chester Bowl to bring Music in the Park to the community. According to a press release from Duluth Parks and Recreation, this collaborative effort has been instrumental in the concert series’ continued success and impact.
