The Brady Street Business Improvement District has hired Prolific Arms, a West Allis-based security group, to patrol the area. This move aims to improve safety in the district, as reported by WISN.
Prolific Arms began patrols this week along Brady Street from Farwell Avenue to Water Street. According to FOX6Now, the security service operates daily from 6 a.m. to 3 a.m. and is funded by businesses in the district, with no cost to taxpayers.
New security measures on Brady Street, developed through discussions and planning since September of the previous year, have received support from local business owners and residents. Theron Rogers, co-owner of Prolific Arms, stated, “It’s been a lot of work, a lot of conversations, a lot of planning to get us here.” The added security aims to improve safety and foster community interaction. Michael Sander, executive director of Business Improvement District, added, “We’re excited to bring a new level of safety and community interaction to Brady Street,” as mentioned by TMJ4.
