Having been under surveillance for 48 relentless hours, Capais's residence at Commandants Way in Chelsea became the focal point of multiple search warrants, courtesy of the Chelsea district court's authority.
According to a social media post from the Everett Police Department, the individual was charged with "Trafficking cocaine over 18 grams and possession of ammunition." The successful operation also led to the seizure of approximately $170,000 in cash, alongside materials indicative of drug distribution activities. The efforts consolidated broad interdepartmental cooperation, spanning across jurisdictions and involving assistance from the Salem Police Department and officers from the EPD patrol division.
In the aftermath of the raid conducted yesterday, the Everett Police Department took to social media to highlight the intrinsic teamwork that these complex operations demand. "Just another example of the teamwork that is needed to conduct these complex drug investigations," praised the police force, also extending gratitude towards the EPD drug unit, patrol division, and the DEA, with a job well done by the Salem Police Department.
