For those who find charm in the neglected and the overlooked, there’s a treasure trove to be unveiled at the Visual Art League of Lewisville's Abandoned art exhibit, stretching from May 3 to May 31 in the Art Gallery of Lewisville Grand Theater.
The opening nights are known to spark the cultural heart of the city, and this exhibition's kick-off will happen Saturday, May 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Grand; but if you can't make it to the grand opening fear not because you can drop by any time during normal Gallery hours from Tuesday-Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and also during additional evenings coinciding with other programs at The Grand. According to the event details published by the City of Lewisville, there's an interactive session in the lineup where art enthusiasts can dive deeper into the artists' minds.
