
The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office has released a statement via social media regarding a recent theft incident where credit cards were stolen from a vehicle and then used to rack up charges at local gas stations. The theft, which has been logged under report number 2025-00029381, occurred on April 7, 2025, between the hours of 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM at a parking lot on 6430 Winchester Blvd.
According to the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office post, shortly after the credit cards were filched, a trio of male suspects proceeded with their ill-gotten plastic to a nearby Shell Gas Station located on Gender Road and purchased gas and gift cards thereafter they visited the Speedway on Refugee Road and continued their spending spree on more gift cards, indicating a pattern of fraudulent transactions focused on easily liquidated assets.
Surveillance cameras at both the Shell and Speedway locations captured the suspects in the act. The Sheriff's Office distributed images of the alleged perpetrators and their vehicle, a silver Mercedes-Benz sedan believed to be model C300. The images were shared in hopes that the public could assist in identifying these individuals.
