Farragut residents, it's time to have your voices heard on what matters in your town. The National Community Survey is about to roll out, and the Town of Farragut is urging its residents to pitch in and share their perspectives on everything from the state of public safety and infrastructure to local government services, the local economy, and quality of life. This survey, as reported by the Town of Farragut's official announcement, aims to reveal what you think about the place you call home—and it's coming to your mailbox or inbox soon.
In a push for community engagement, specifics on the upcoming amenities for a future park at the intersection of McFee Road and Boyd Station Road are also being solicited. Getting chosen by a lottery system, some lucky residents will find a printed version of this survey arriving in their mail in the upcoming weeks of late April or perhaps in early May. If you're one of the chosen and receive this survey, the Town of Farragut encourages you to fill it out, with options to return it by mail or go online. A broader invitation to share opinions will come later in June—an online survey will be up for all to participate then.
Should you have any pressing questions or curiosities about the survey process or what it might entail, the door is open and you're invited to knock. Reach out to Communications Manager Wendy Smith by dropping an email at [email protected] or make the call at 865-966-7057. They're standing by to assist with your concerns.
For those keen on tracking the pulse of the town and seeing what kind of response this survey drums up, keep your calendars marked. Survey results are set to be unveiled at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting, which, if everything goes according to the plan, should be happening sometime late June or could even slide into early July.
