
Early this morning, a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 in Osceola County resulted in the death of one woman and left three other individuals with severe injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported the accident occurred around 2:55 a.m. along eastbound I-4 at mile marker 64, a detail confirmed by WFTV.
According to ClickOrlando, the accident involved a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with four occupants, all of whom were from Orlando. Running off the roadway to the right for reasons still to be determined by the FHP, the car subsequently overturned multiple times on the right shoulder. None of the sedan's occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The one casualty of the accident was a 20-year-old Orlando woman, seated in the rear left of the car, who was ejected during the accident's tumult. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity, as well as the full circumstances leading up to the crash, remain under investigation by the FHP.
