
A tragic incident unfolded on the westbound lanes of I-94 near Wayne in Wayne County after a pickup truck driver was killed in a crash last night. According to CBS News Detroit, the Michigan State Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:40 p.m. when a pickup truck lost control while exiting, veered across lanes, and collided with another pickup truck, causing both vehicles to overturn. This incident resulted in the freeway’s closure for several hours.
Officials reported that the driver who caused the accident was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from their vehicle, leading to their death. In contrast, four others sustained minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to ClickOnDetroit.
