A spontaneous gathering turned disruptive on the streets of Folsom last weekend when a large group of juveniles convened at a construction site. The Folsom Police Department indicated awareness of the incident via a social media post, detailing reports of a party starting around 10 p.m. last Saturday in a neighborhood in the making near Happy Hallow Drive and Riata Drive.
Upon their arrival, officers encountered what they described as "a couple hundred juveniles." The scene quickly changed as the youth scattered, leaving behind one of the partially built homes with minor damage. As of the report, no arrests had been made, and police stated that there are no suspects at this time. The situation is still under scrutiny by local authorities who are piecing together the events of that night.
The Folsom Police Department's post emphasized the ongoing nature of their investigation.
