A multi-vehicle collision on the northbound 110 Freeway at Avenue 52 in Eagle Rock yesterday afternoon has resulted in four injured individuals, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The LAFD alert issued states the incident occurred at approximately 3:46 P.M.
Among the four patients, two were in at least serious condition and were transported to the hospital, while the other two sustained injuries that were deemed to be in fair condition. The age and gender of the patients are yet to be disclosed. Traffic in the area was impacted as emergency responders worked to clear the scene and tend to those involved. The California Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation, and media inquiries are being directed towards them, referencing CHP's LOG #1632.
The Fire Department dispatch summoned multiple resources to the scene, including Battalion 2, Central Bureau, and Council District 14 units. Among the responders were Engine 1, Engine 12, Engine 201, Engine 212, Engine 44, Engine 47, Rescue Ambulance 1, Rescue Ambulance 12, Rescue Ambulance 850, Truck 1, Truck 12, and the Urban Search and Rescue unit HR3.
