Frisco Administrative Offices to Close for Good Friday, Essential Services Still OperationalSource: City of Frisco TX - City Hall

In observance of Good Friday, Frisco's administrative offices will be out of action. The closure will encompass various departments across the city, including City Hall and the Municipal Court. Residents looking to manage their administrative tasks will need to plan accordingly, as normal services are set to resume the following Monday, April 21.

A statement from the City of Frisco revealed that the Municipal Court, in particular, will not only close on Good Friday but will also shut its doors tomorrow and Thursday due to mandatory staff training. Nonetheless, Frisco denizens will have online access to make payments and file requests through the city's E-court Portal throughout the training and holiday closures.

Frisco's Environmental Services will soldier on undeterred, with no delays in curbside services like recycling and trash collection during the holiday stretch. However, the Environmental Services offices, alongside the Environmental Collection Center, plan to join the rest of the closures on Friday, April 18. Yet, in a quick pivot, the Environmental Collection Center will spring back into service, albeit for limited hours, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Other public amenities, such as the Frisco Public Library and Central Fire Administration, follow suit with a day off on Good Friday. For those looking to drop off books, the library's drive-thru return will operate around the clock, affording an unending window for literary returns. As for the Frisco Athletic Center, workouts will continue unimpeded on Good Friday and the following Saturday, but doors will be shut tight next Sunday, April 20, as stipulated on the City of Frisco website.

Cultural sites and recreational areas are no exception to the holiday's influence. The Frisco Heritage Museum and The Grove at Frisco Commons will close on both the observance day and Sunday, allowing patrons only a solitary day in between to explore. In contrast, the Frisco Discovery Center will welcome visitors on both Friday and Saturday before taking an intermission on Sunday.
