The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has released a schedule for ramp and lane closures from April 13 through April 19, which could affect traffic in various parts of the city. Among the closures are several lanes along the Dallas Parkway, including nightly restrictions from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., such as the northbound and southbound left lane at Gaylord Parkway and the southbound left lane at PGA Parkway.
Key ramps are also closed continuously. Drivers won't have access to the southbound SH 121/Headquarters Dr. exit ramp or the northbound DNT entrance ramp at SH 121. According to the information provided by the City of Frisco, these closures are weather-permitting, and alternative routes should be considered. The NTTA reminds drivers to exercise caution when passing through the work zones and perhaps plan for another way.
Further lane closures will occur throughout the day as needed, with specific times announced for the southbound right lane from Stonebrook Parkway to Warren Parkway - daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, travel will be restricted during the night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for two northbound and southbound left lanes from Gaylord Parkway to US 380. Additional daytime restrictions will affect the northbound and southbound left lane from Gaylord Parkway to Cotton Gin Road, the southbound right lane from PGA Parkway to Fields Parkway, and the northbound right lane from John Hickman Parkway to Stonebrook Parkway.
