
A tragic incident unfolded at a Frisco track meet yesterday, which left a 16-year-old student dead from a stabbing. The Frisco Police Department has taken 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony into custody, connecting him to the incident. According to the Frisco Police Department, the stabbing occurred during an altercation between two students at the 6900 block of Stadium Lane.
Despite immediate efforts by the responding Frisco Police and Fire personnel who administered CPR and blood, the victim succumbed to their injuries. Charged with first-degree murder, the suspect is now awaiting a bond decision. The police stress that there is no further threat to the public, as reported in the Frisco Police Department's release.
