A man in Galesburg reported being robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight yesterday, according to local law enforcement. The incident occurred near Burgess Drive and New Street at around 11:48 a.m., with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office quickly responding to the scene. Despite the efforts of deputies and K-9 units, the suspect in the incident eluded capture. Walking down Burgess Drive, the K-9 unit failed to pick up a track that led to the suspect, leaving the authorities without a lead.
