The Houston Police Department (HPD) reported that the incident occurred last night when gunmen opened fire in the South Belt/Ellington neighborhood. According to CW39, officers arrived at the 10200 block of Rolleston Lane around 8:15 p.m. to find one victim, a 26-year-old man, dead in a garage from multiple gunshot wounds.
The second victim, also 26, was discovered with a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, ABC13 reported. The suspects, believed to have arrived in a white Mercedes Benz sedan, shot into the open garage before fleeing the scene. In the immediate wake of the violence, HPD has not yet established a motive, nor have they provided a description of the suspects.
