The Harford County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a man accused of a domestic-related stabbing incident that unfolded yesterday morning in Abingdon. Deputies are searching for 32-year-old Raja Zahid Maqsood, who is believed to be connected to the attack that occurred on Deerhill Circle, FOX Baltimore reported.
Following the incident, which was reported at approximately 7:24 a.m., a surveillance photo was released showing Maqsood at the Abingdon Walmart. This image, captured shortly after the stabbing, may provide clues as to his whereabouts. Maqsood is known to have access to a black Hyundai, although it is unclear if he has used the vehicle to flee the scene.
Victims of the stabbing were transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The sheriff's office believes that, due to the nature of the relationships involved, this stabbing was an isolated incident, WBALTV detailed. As of now, no further details about the relationship between Maqsood and the victims have been released.
The sheriff's office continues to request public assistance in locating Maqsood, emphasizing the urgency of community engagement. "Anyone seeing him is asked to call 911," according to the statement acquired by WMAR2 News.
The investigation is still ongoing as deputies attempt to determine what happened that morning and locate Maqsood so he can face possible charges.
