Harris County constables have made another move to keep the roads safe by apprehending a driver under the influence last week; on a busy stretch of FM 1960, Marquis Clayton was pulled over and subsequently found to be intoxicated. According to the Facebook post by Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies observed numerous signs that pointed toward Clayton's impairment during the traffic stop, leading them to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests which he failed and that, coupled with the potential risk of a drunk driver on the road, led to his arrest.
Harris County Constable Precinct 4 statement was clear and to the point: "Marquis Clayton was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated." The bond set for Clayton was notably a mere $100.00, stemming from County Court 15's decision.
