Last Sunday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a theft at a Bath and Body Works store on the 19500 block of the North Freeway. The suspect, later identified as "Janicia Boutte," had concealed merchandise valued at over $500 and left the store without paying, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Upon arrival, deputies investigated and found that the suspect had concealed merchandise worth over $547 and attempted to flee in a vehicle. Deputies quickly apprehended the suspect, who was identified as "Janicia Boutte" and taken into custody. It was later revealed that Boutte had three open felony warrants for theft, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Janicia Boutte" was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Felony Theft. Her bond was set at $2,000.00 out of the 180th District Court," according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page.
