In a routine patrol task, constables in Harris County nabbed a man on his second accusation of drunk driving. On S Kirkwood Road, the driver, identified as Jose Gonzalez-Saldana, demonstrated numerous signs suggestive of impairment, as reported Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook post.
After being subjected to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests by deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 4, it became clear that Gonzalez-Saldana's ability to drive safely was compromised by alcohol. Producing a breath sample, with a blood alcohol level recorded at 0.192, it appeared to be more than twice the legal limit, mentioned in the constable's statement.
Gonzalez-Saldana's record revealed a previous DWI conviction, consequently escalating the severity of the charges against him. Following the arrest, "Jose Gonzalez-Saldana was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense," according to the statement released by Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Perhaps an indicator of the road ahead, his bond was set at a modest $100.00 out of County Court 15. Citizens can stay abreast of local crime, arrests, and traffic updates by following Harris County Constable Precinct 4 via social media or by downloading their "C4 NOW" mobile app.
