Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office in Harris County were called to a scene on Sunday in the 8000 block of N Sam Houston Tollway W, where a driver was found asleep at the wheel. Upon arrival, deputies identified the driver as Luis Garcia and observed signs of intoxication as he was slumped over the vehicle's controls.
When awakened by the deputies, Garcia's behavior led to the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which indicated his intoxication. A subsequent investigation revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.160, exceeding the legal limit. According to a social media post from the Constable's office, Garcia was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
