Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office in Harris County made a significant intervention on Thursday, swiftly detaining a couple after a suspicious activity call in a vacant residence at the 1000 block of Cold Snow Drive. The male suspect, initially trying to flee the scene with a female companion, was identified as Tarik Exavier Jammer, age 28. The Harris County Constable Precinct 4 reported that the female is a 15-year-old juvenile who had been missing from her California home since May 2024.
The deputies learned through their investigation that the teenager met Jammer online while playing video games. She reportedly left her home to join him when she was merely 14 years old, entering into a sexual and romantic relationship. "Tarik Exavier Jammer was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Sexual Performance of a Child," announced Constable Mark Herman in a statement detailed on the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 official Facebook page. The bond and court dates for Jammer have not yet been disclosed. The underage girl, whose name is not being shared because she’s a minor and a victim, was taken to a safe place while waiting to reunite with her family.
