The Hawai‘i Police Department has issued an appeal to the public in hopes of identifying a man in connection with an incident that recently occurred at a beach in the Puna district. The individual is sought for questioning about an investigation that began on March 4, according to the Hawaii Police Department published yesterday.
The man in question was captured on a cellphone video by the victim; he is described as a Caucasian male with a tan complexion and a slim frame, ranging in height from 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately between 140 to 160 pounds featuring short brown hair a short brown beard, which was shared by authorities in the hopes that community members might recognize him.
