After ongoing complaints from the community, the illegal operations of a Houston-area massage parlor were brought to a halt by law enforcement officials. On Monday, investigators from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 posed as customers at 81 Spa Massage on the 1700 block of Cypress Creek Parkway. According to a statement on the Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook page, they were allegedly solicited for sex or sexual acts, triggering an arrest for prostitution.
In the course of the sting operation, Yonghua Lou, identified as an employee at the establishment, was taken into custody. She now faces charges not only for prostitution but for her operation without a legitimate massage license. In the statement obtained by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, there was a red flag raised with the property that had prompted the investigation. This bust isn't just a one-off; additional charges are pending, hinting at a deeper web of human trafficking crimes potentially unwound by this single thread.
In an online message, the Constable’s Office asks the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activity.
