Following a vehicular collision in the 12300 block of Champions Forest Drive, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a routine check on the involved parties and made an unexpected arrest. The deputies discovered that one of the drivers, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, had an outstanding warrant for the sexual assault of a child, prompting immediate action, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
As per an announcement shared on the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 official Facebook page, the suspect was detained at the scene of the accident. The incident, which began as a mere traffic accident, quickly escalated into a more serious situation with the revelation of the warrant. The suspect is currently being held, pending transfer to the Harris County Jail to face the felony charges.
