Houston authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday at a residence located at 10219 Rolleston Lane. A 26-year-old man was killed, and another 26-year-old man was injured but is expected to survive. The name of the deceased victim is still pending confirmation.
According to the City of Houston website, two unidentified suspects exited a white Mercedes Benz sedan and approached the open garage of the home, where they fired several shots, striking both victims. The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division is leading the investigation, and officials found the deceased victim in the garage with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim was found inside the residence with at least one gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital. The suspects fled the scene in their vehicle after the shooting.
