Houston authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday at 9503 Jensen Drive. The victim, a man in his 50s, has not been identified pending confirmation from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
As per the Houston Police Department release, patrol officers found the man unresponsive in a parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics attempted to assist, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson from the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation, which appears to have started from a fight that escalated into violence. The suspect, described as a black male in his 50s, fled the scene on foot.
