The current boyfriend sustained serious injuries from the gunfire and was hurried to a local trauma center. As reported by FOX26 Houston, the shooting took place in the 8800 block of Sweetwater Lane and left the boyfriend in critical condition. The fire department paramedics from Houston were responsible for the victim's transport to the hospital.

While the identity of the suspect has not been disclosed to the public, the authorities are aware of who he is and are actively searching for him.
