The Houston Police Department is soliciting the help of the public in identifying a suspect involved in a recent aggravated robbery in South Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, the incident occurred late in the evening last January, when a man, armed with a handgun, entered a convenience store and assaulted the store clerk.
At approximately 9:00 pm on January 8, the unidentified male, dressed in all black with contrasting white shoes, entered the store situated on the 7100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The Houston PD detailed that the suspect, displaying the weapon, forcibly demanded the clerk to open the cash register before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. With a height stretching somewhere between 5'6" and 5'10" and weighing in between 140 to 165 pounds, the suspect remains at large. Struck in the head with the handgun, the store clerk, managed to survive the ordeal without life-threatening injuries.
