A disturbing discovery was made in downtown Houston today, when a man and a woman were found dead inside an apartment. Police are investigating the incident as an apparent murder-suicide. The incident took place at an apartment complex located at 1810 Main St., as confirmed by the Houston Police Department. The discovery was made at about 10:40 a.m., as reported by Click2Houston.
Earlier today, around 7:30 a.m., SWAT team members were called to check on reports of a shooting at the same location, ABC13 detailed. The investigation, still unfolding, has to yet provide clarity on the relationship between the man and woman or what led up to the incident.
The Houston Police Department indicated that the woman appeared to have been stabbed to death, and the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. However, authorities have not yet released any further details.
