
Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday afternoon, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old man. The incident took place around 3:35 p.m. at 3102 Rosalie Street, according to the Houston Police Department release. The victim's identity has not been released, pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive man in the street with a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department pronounced him dead. The HPD Homicide Division, led by Sergeant C. Lamont and Detectives A. Herrera and J. Robles, is handling the investigation.
The motive behind the shooting is still unknown, and no suspects have been identified. The Houston Police Department is asking the public for information related to the case.
