Houston police are asking for the public’s help to find a person of interest in the shooting of a seven-year-old child at an apartment complex on Northborough Drive early on April 1. The person is a Black male last seen wearing dark clothing. No charges have been filed, according to the City of Houston.
The Houston Police Department reported that the incident happened around 12:35 a.m. The child was taken to the hospital in stable condition, treated, and later released. Surveillance images of a person of interest have been shared, and authorities seek help identifying him, as stated by the City of Houston.
The Houston Police Department Major Assaults Division is investigating a shooting in which a child inside an apartment was grazed by a bullet that entered through a wall during gunfire outside.
