
Authorities in Houston are searching for a man who turned a shoplifting incident into a robbery after threatening a store employee. The event occurred on February 18 around 6:50 p.m. at a general store in the 8800 block of Jensen.
According to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the suspect concealed merchandise in his clothing. When confronted by an employee who recognized him as a frequent shoplifter, the suspect responded with a verbal threat of bodily harm.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30 to 35 years old, about 5'10" tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The incident is documented under HPD case number 220822-25.
The Houston Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying the suspect. Crime Stoppers may offer a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest or charges.
