
Houston authorities are actively seeking a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident in the city. The Houston Police Department has released surveillance footage showing a dark-colored SUV that is believed to be connected to the crime, which took place at 7200 England Street on the morning of March 28, according to the City of Houston press release.
The video, released by the Houston Police Department, captures the suspect vehicle in the vicinity of the shooting shortly before a 30-year-old man was, as stated in the original report, "transported to an area hospital in stable condition." The incident occurred around 6:20 a.m., and the victim, who was preparing to head to work, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He informed the police that the SUV drove by and an occupant began to erratically fire a gun in his direction, as reported by the City of Houston.
Houston Police Department Major Assaults Division Detective M. Bellahna conveyed details of the event, relaying that officers who responded to the shooting call found the male victim with gunshot wounds. "The victim told police he was getting ready for work when a dark-colored SUV of unknown make or model drove by and an unknown suspect discharged a weapon from inside the vehicle multiple times in his direction," Bellahna detailed, as stated by the City of Houston.
