In an effort to quickly resolve a theft case, the City of Jacksonville Beach Police Department has turned to the public for assistance, releasing information about a recent incident at Windward Beach Marine. According to the police, on March 27, two white male suspects allegedly entered the marine's fenced area and unlawfully took a Kaufman trailer valued at around $6,200.
The suspects, as per the security footage made available by the Jacksonville Beach authorities, were seen to be driving a gray and white Ford pickup truck. Deliberately using the vehicle, they backed into the marine's storage area, latched the trailer onto their truck, and promptly left the scene. It is noted that the stolen property was missing its license plate at the time of the incident.
In their social media outreach, the police shared images of the suspects and their vehicle, urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward. The post from the City of Jacksonville Beach Police Department includes contact details for Detective E. D. Filbert, who is handling the case.
