Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, along with the Parks & Recreation Department and Fire Station 20, will host the annual pancake breakfast and "Hoppin’ Down the Bonnie Lane" egg hunt on Saturday, April 19. The event will feature games, breakfast, and activities for all ages.

The festivities will kick off with a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at Fire Station 20, located at 5865 Judson St. Commissioner Kirkpatrick, alongside staff and volunteers from the Cora Coleman Senior Center, will be serving up pancakes while supplies last. In addition to the breakfast, the fire station will hold an open house featuring a variety of demonstrations and tours. “This is a fun event for families and kids of all ages,” Commissioner Kirkpatrick shared in anticipation of the event, as per Clark County.

For those eager to embark on a treasure hunt, the "Hoppin’ Down the Bonnie Lane" egg hunt is slated from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside the Bob Price Recreation Center. Check-in for the egg hunt starts at 9:15 a.m., and organizers encourage participants to bring their own baskets to fill with eggs. The hunts, accommodating everyone from toddlers aged 2 and upward, will run in 20-minute increments to ensure all age groups get their chance at the hunt.

The Office of Emergency Management and local vendors will also provide informational displays, aiming to educate the community on life-saving safety measures.
