Over nearly three decades, McNitt has made a lasting impact, his experiences ranging from leading the Investigations Division to completing the FBI National Academy and Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command programs, an achievement shared by few.
As McNitt sets out to helm the Edgewater Police Department, accolades continue to pour in, recognizing his breadth of experience and the void his departure will leave.
