The City of Las Vegas is hosting an Arbor Day and Earth Day celebration on April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Children’s Memorial Park, 6601 W. Gowan Road. The event will take place in Ward 5, with Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong attending, according to the City of Las Vegas.
Tree planting activities will take place from 10 a.m. to noon during the first half of the event. Participants can sign up for the tree planting, with instructions and tools provided.
